Cárda, Mod 17.
The making of a paradox.
Six months. Seventeen iterations. Built to open thick, wet, and muddy — and dissolve into a rich, sticky sweetness.

Das Evolutions-Log
Die gescheiterten Eröffnungen
I began with Bergamot, but it was too bone-dry, slicing through the composition with a sharp blade. I pivoted to Green Mandarin — an essential oil I love — but its bitter, aromatic crunch pulled the entire fragrance too far into a vibrant green jungle.
Der Durchbruch-Akkord
To capture the exact texture of wet and heavy, I formulated a custom William's Pear accord. It brought a juicy, dripping moisture without tipping into cheap sugar.
Die Kardamom-Trilogie
Cardamom Essential Oil alone dies too quickly on skin. To preserve its intensity through the entire life of the wear, I built a trilogy: Cardamom EO for the initial spice, Cardamom Absolute to introduce a dense, soil-like muddiness, and Cardamom Aldehyde to bridge the gap and lift the formula.
Der finale Anker
A specialty Italian Bourbon Vanilla accord. Sticky, resinous, and uncompromisingly rich. Getting the balance right took months of doubt. Was I ever going to be happy with this?
The Skin Trial (Mod 17)
Hours 0–2The Mud
Viscous, heavy, and deliberately dirty. Then, a slow shift. The heavy mud begins to evaporate, lifting into a lighter, greener sweetness.
Hours 2–4+The Shift
The initial filth clears completely. A deeply textured, rough-around-the-edges woody gourmand emerges. Deep woods shine through the background. It is rough, unpolished, and completely intoxicating. I cannot stop smelling my own wrists.
