Who you're buying from.

These terms apply to purchases made through spitefulaugust.com. The seller is FOX AND WOLF (NIF E44679041), trading as Spiteful August, with its registered address at Flamenca Beach Centro Comercial, Local 33, C. Niagara 63, Dehesa de Campoamor, 03189, Alicante, Spain. For the full legal entity details, see our Aviso Legal.

What we sell.

We sell hand-blended Extraits de Parfum (currently Cárda, Bohemia, Coya), a discovery set (The August Collective), digital gift cards, and any future fragrance products listed on the site. Product images are representative — minor variations in colour and presentation are normal for small-batch production. Stock is limited and availability can change without notice.

What you pay.

All prices are shown in euros (€) and are VAT-inclusive. Shipping is calculated and shown at checkout — full breakdown on our Shipping & Returns page. We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but the price you pay is the price displayed at the moment you complete checkout.

How a purchase works.

When you submit an order, you're making us an offer to buy at the prices and on the terms shown. We confirm acceptance by sending you an order confirmation email — that email forms the contract between us. If we can't fulfil your order (e.g. out of stock, payment refused, suspected fraud), we'll let you know and refund any payment in full.

How you pay.

We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout — currently major debit/credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, PayPal, and any local methods (such as Bizum in Spain) we choose to enable. Payment is processed by Shopify Payments and our payment partners. We never see or store your full card details.

How your order travels.

We ship across the EU (including Ireland) and Northern Ireland (mainland UK coming soon). Estimated delivery times, costs and free-shipping thresholds are detailed on our Shipping & Returns page. Risk of loss passes to you on delivery. UK customers — please read the UK customs section.

14 days to change your mind.

If you're a consumer in the EU or UK, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days from the date you receive the order, without giving any reason. To exercise this right, write to hola@myspitefulaugust.com with your order number. We'll respond with return instructions.

Important — what cannot be returned: for hygiene and product-integrity reasons, opened or used 50ml bottles cannot be returned. 5ml sample vials and any opened discovery sets cannot be returned. Items must be returned in their original packaging within 14 days of you notifying us. Outbound shipping costs are non-refundable; return shipping costs are paid by you unless the item arrived defective. Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned item.

If something's wrong.

All products come with the legal guarantees provided by EU Directive 1999/44/EC and the Spanish General Law for the Defence of Consumers and Users (Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007). If a product is defective, contact us within a reasonable time of discovering the defect and we'll repair, replace or refund as required by law. Damage caused by misuse, normal wear, or improper storage is not covered.

How to raise an issue.

Email us at hola@myspitefulaugust.com with your order number and we'll respond within 5 working days. If you're not satisfied with how we resolve it, you can use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform or contact your national consumer protection body.

How we handle your info.

We process your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy. By placing an order you confirm you have read it and accept the processing described there.

What's ours stays ours.

All content on this site — including text, images, code, brand names (Spiteful August, Cárda, Bohemia, Coya, The August Collective) and logos — is the intellectual property of FOX AND WOLF or used with permission. You may not reproduce, distribute or commercially exploit it without our written consent.

Where the line sits.

We do everything reasonable to make sure orders arrive correctly and on time. We're not liable for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control (carrier disruption, natural events, customs hold-ups, force majeure). Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for fraud, gross negligence or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

When we update these terms.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the version published on the site at the moment you place the order. If changes are material, we'll flag them clearly.

Where disputes are resolved.

These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute will be heard by the Courts of Alicante, Spain. If you're a consumer based outside Spain, you also have the protections of the consumer law of the country where you live.
